Computed Radiology Equipment
CR provides high quality digital images at a very attractive cost!
Computed Radiography produces a high quality, digital images using your existing conventional Radiography equipment. The digital phosphor plate cassette replaces the standard film cassette and an imaging plate is used instead of film. The imaging plate is read by a laser scanner and within seconds, produces a digital image which may be manipulated and electronically saved to a digital archive. The image is processed with the proper algorithm to provide the right “look” of the image to optimize mix of soft tissue and bony detail within the image. Mammography computed radiology algorithms are also available. Computed Radiography systems may be floor mounted or table top solutions and offer a range of processing speeds.
