Pulse Oximeters

A Pulse Oximeter is a piece of medical equipment that indirectly measures the oxygen saturation of a patient’s blood as well as the changes in the blood volume in the skin. Typically Pulse Oximeters also measure heart rate. Pulse Oximetry is a vital sign that is important in understanding the overall health of a patient.
